Italian Treasury's head of debt management Davide Iacovoni told
the Financial Times, speaking of the sale on Thursday of 8

exchange offer. The EU's first sale of joint debt to finance

La Repubblica reported on Sunday Italy's transport
regulatory body has told the transport ministry annual motorway
toll increases should average 1.08%, 38% below the 1.75% agreed
as the basis for talks with funds interested in Atlantia's
tollroad operator Autostrade per l'Italia. The difference could
cost Autostrade 3.3 billion euros over 18 years, affecting the
8.5-9.5 billion euro valuation agreed for the unit, it said.

Telecom Italia is drawing up a new plan worth between 4
billion and 4.5 billion euros ($5.3 billion) to speed up its
fibrE roll-out in the country, Bloomberg reported.

London-based hedge fund Bluebell Partners, has written to UK
Defence Secretary Ben Wallace to raise concerns over Leonardo's
role in British military contracts after chief executive
Alessandro Profumo was convicted of fraud, UK's Telegraph
newspaper reported on Sunday.
The newspaper said Bluebell asked for reassurance Profumo's
decision not to step down would have no negative consequence on
existing commercial relationships and on Britain's Tempest
future air combat programme in which Leonardo is involved.
