EssilorLuxottica buys Italian tech eyewear manufacturing firm Faro
MILAN, April 23 (Reuters) - Franco-Italian eyewear group EssilorLuxottica ESLX.PA said on Thursday it had acquired Faro, a small Italian company specialised in high-precision technologies for eyewear manufacturing. "This acquisition further strengthens EssilorLuxottica's vertical integration by adding critical technological capabilities to the group", it said. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
