HK's CIFI jumps most in 6 weeks after developer deposits funds for notes redemption

** Shares of CIFI Holdings (Group) Co Ltd  0884.HK  surge 8%
to HK$5, their biggest intraday pct gain since Dec 7 
    ** Stock of the property developer and investor hits the
highest level since Jan 14; on track for a second session of
gains 
    ** CIFI stock is fourth-biggest percentage gainer in the
Hang Seng Composite Index  .HSCI  and the Hang Seng Composite
Index  .HSCIPC , which tracks properties and construction stocks
    ** Co says it has deposited all necessary funds into the
designated bank account of the trustee for redemption of the
5.5% senior notes due 2022 at maturity in full at their
outstanding principal amount of $239.983 mln with interest
accrued to the maturity date on Jan 23 (https://bit.ly/3FNqA7C)
    ** Says there will be no material impact on its financial
position as a result of the redemption of the notes at maturity
    ** Its property management services unit CIFI Ever Sunshine
Services Group  1995.HK  jumps 12.4%, best day since July 28
    ** Hang Seng Mainland Properties Index  .HSMPI  jumps 4.6%
and Hang Seng Composite Index, tracking properties and
construction stocks  .HSCIPC , rises 2.3%
    ** The Hang Seng Composite Index  .HSCI  slips 0.3% and the
Hang Seng Index  .HSI  eases 0.4%
