** Shares of Everest Metals Corporation  EMC.AX  fall as
much as 12.5% to A$0.105, their lowest level since May 10
    ** Stock set for worst day since May 28, if current losses
hold
    ** The diversified miner says it received firm commitments
to raise A$2.2 mln ($1.45 mln) at A$0.10 per share
    ** Issue price represents discount of 16.7% to stock's last
close 
    ** Stock has risen 50% this year, as of last close
