Notice to Delisting of EVERGREEN MARINE CORP. (TAIWAN) LTD. GDRs from London Stock Exchange.
EVERGREEN MARINE CORP. (TAIWAN) LTD. ("EVERGREEN" or the "Company"), an information Shipping and Transportation company, submitted below report to the Taiwan Stock Exchange ("TWSE") through the market observation post system ("MOPS") on December 21, 2018.
Till November 30, 2018, the outstanding GDR issued by EVERGREEN on the London Stock Exchange were 81,479 units (representing 814,790 common shares). Due to limit outstanding GDR units and increase relevant expenses every year, in order to lower the relevant costs, the Board of Directors passed the resolution of terminating the GDR program and deposit agreement.
In addition and further to the announcement on December 21, 2018, providing notification that the specific date of cancellation of the listing of the Company's Global Depositary Receipts ("GDRs") on the Official List of the Financial Conduct Authority and their admission to trading on the London Stock Exchange will be March 28, 2019.
The securities to which the cancellation of listing and trading will relate are the Regulation S and Rule 144A GDRs (ISIN Code: US3002462048 for Reg S, and US3002461057 for 144a).
