Jefferies cuts Evolution to 'hold' on uncertainty from legal dispute

** Jefferies cuts Evolution EVOG.ST to "hold" from "buy", citing uncertainty created from U.S. legal dispute between the Swedish gaming company and its rival Playtech PTEC.L

** Evolution said in October it would add Playtech to a defamation lawsuit, alleging that one of its subsidiaries commissioned a 2021 report meant to damage Evolution's reputation and business operations

** Playtech rejected the allegations, but it shares fell by over 38% after Evolution's announcement
