Cairo, 10 April - Ezz Steel (EGX: ESRS; London Stock Exchange: AEZD), an
Egyptian joint stock company (the "Company"), refers to its previous
announcements in relation to the proposed cancellation of the listing of its
Global Depositary Receipts (the "GDRs") from the certificates representing
certain securities (depository receipts) category of the Official List of the
FCA and the admission to trading of the GDRs on the LSE's Main Market for
listed securities.

The Company confirms that the cancellation of the listing and trading of the
GDRs took effect at 08:00 am UK time today. Following such cancellation, the
GDRs will remain outstanding.
