The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq rose on Friday after Netflix kicked off the earnings
season for growth stocks on an upbeat note, while Google parent Alphabet gained
on news of job cuts. .N
At 10:45 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.08% at
33,069.95. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.50% at 3,918.37 and the Nasdaq Composite
.IXIC was up 0.99% at 10,959.461.
