**  Shares of Ukraine-focused miner Ferrexpo FXPO.L down 14.25% at 67.19 p, on track for biggest one-day percentage fall since May 2025

** Top loser on London's small caps index .FTSC, which is up 0.06%

** Russia and the U.S. fail to reach a compromise on a possible peace deal to end the war in Ukraine after a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump's top envoys

** Up to Tuesday's close, stock had fallen 26.37%, compared with a 7.88% YTD increase in FTSC
