UCB at record high after competitor's skin disease drug data

** Shares in UCB UCB.BR soar more than 16% after its competitor MoonLake Immunotherapeutics MLTX.O released "underwhelming" late-stage study data for a drug that could compete with the Belgian company's skin disease drug Bimzelx

** Degroof Petercam says study results underwhelm and show MoonLake's drug is "clearly inferior" to UCB's Bimzelx

** The broker's stance on Bimzelx becomes more bullish - it increases its expectation for Bimzelx's hidradenitis suppurativa peak penetration rate by 10%, resulting in peak sales of EUR 4 bln ($4.69 bln)

** "The bottom line is that sonelokimab appears less efficacious than Bimzelx on paper on the key HiSCR75 endpoint," KBC Securities adds, referring to MoonLake's drug candidate

** Shares in UCB will see their biggest single-day rise in 17-1/2 years if gains hold, and touch their highest price ever

** UCB's biggest shareholder Financiere de Tubize TUB.BR, which holds about 36% of the capital, rises about 14%
