Australia's Auteco Minerals rises on strong interest in Canadian copper-gold project

** Shares of Auteco Minerals Ltd  AUT.AX  rise as much as
9.1% to A$0.036, their highest level since July 28
    ** Around 7.9 mln AUT shares change hands, vs the 30-day
average of 4.7 mln shares
    ** Co says it intends to pursue talks with several parties,
which showed interest in securing supply rights to its Green Bay
copper-gold project in Canada
    ** Adds that it is "overwhelmed by the level of inbound
enquiries" regarding Green Bay project 
    ** To hold talks with third parties on their potential role
in Green Bay post initial resource growth phase
    ** AUT on Aug 31 announced acquisition of the project for
A$65 mln ($41.85 mln)
    ** Auteco stock down 35.3% this year, as of last close

    ($1 = 1.5533 Australian dollars)
