Further to the announcement made by Fresnillo plc (the "Company") on 21 April 2016 regarding the appointment of Mr Alberto Tiburcio as a director, the Company announces as follows:
Mr Alberto Tiburcio is a director of Grupo Nacional Provincial, S.A.B. and Petrleos Mexicanos. He is also a former director of Grupo Palacio de Hierro, S.A.B. de C.V.. There is no further information to disclose pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13.
Mr Tiburcio's appointment will take effect on 4 May 2016.
