less than 15 million shares and no more than 15.5 million
shares) of Friendly Corp  8209.T , at the price of 100 yen per
share, or 1.55 billion yen in total, during the period from May
14 to June 11 
    * Says it aims to raise voting power in Friendly Corp to
54.2
percent from 0.01 percent
