       Oct 18 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions, and disposals were reported by 2000 GMT on Friday:

        **  Indian steel producer JSW Steel  JSTL.NS  said on
Friday its joint venture firm entered into a deal to buy
thyssenkrupp Electrical Steel India for $482.1 million.

        ** United States Cellular  USM.N  said it has agreed to
sell some of its spectrum licenses to Verizon  VZ.N  in a $1

sale of its $1 billion Southeast Asia life insurance business,

Chartered Bank's personal loan business in India, the Indian

    ** Philippine conglomerate Ayala Corp  AC.PS  is selling
half of its stake in Mynt, the fintech unicorn which operates
