Fulcrum reports multi-element analysis at Sylvanite and updates on pilot plant

Fulcrum Metals plc (AIM: FMET), a company pioneering the use of innovative cyanide free technology to recover precious and critical metals from mine waste, is pleased to announce results from its Sylvanite scout hole surface sampling programme and also updates on pilot plant plans.

Sylvanite Highlights:

▪    Average grades from surface across 26 new sample sites of 0.66g/t gold, 0.71g/t silver, 11.72g/t tellurium and 17.1g/t gallium, targeting previously unsampled and infill areas

▪    Other notable average grades include 115g/t rubidium, 637g/t strontium and 144.5g/t zirconium

▪  The average grade of 0.66g/t gold exceeds historic drill holes averaging 0.54g/t and also the 0.47g/t average grade used in historic resource estimate calculations

▪   Highest average grade reported at site SC4; 2.04g/t gold, 1.29g/t silver, 14.2g/t tellurium and 17g/t gallium

▪   Sampling from surface to 5 metres depth confirming grades throughout with all ending in mineralisation

The Sylvanite programme was designed to test previously unsampled areas and infill test surface coverage across the project. In addition to confirming gold and silver mineralisation, the sampling has identified the presence of several critical and technology related metals not previously tested for at the site.

The results will support the ongoing evaluation of potential commodities for recovery test work and help inform planning for a future systematic drilling programme.

Pilot Plant Planning

Fulcrum will attend the PDAC in Toronto, in early March for corporate and Government meetings and then will visit Timmins, accompanied by technology partners Extrakt Process Solutions LLC ("Extrakt") and alliance engineering partners Bechtel Energy Technologies & Solutions, Inc. ("Bechtel") to consider potential pilot plant locations.

Ryan Mee, Chief Executive Officer of Fulcrum, commented:

"The Sylvanite assays have expanded the gold mineralisation and returned higher average grades than those reported historically. The assays also identified silver, tellurium, gallium, rubidium, strontium and zirconium which highlights the broader critical and technology metals potential of the project, none of which had previously been tested for.

"These findings will help guide future recovery test work and help us plan a systematic drill programme.

"Together with our partners Extrakt and Bechtel, we will now address the pilot plant location and will visit potential pilot plant sites in Timmins next week.

"I will regularly update shareholders on progress at our tailings projects as our corporate strategy progresses."

Sylvanite - New sampling results

An additional 20 sites were sampled to extend and confirm areas of known mineralisation, and at 6 infill locations adjacent to historically drilled areas. Analysis of the samples using Fire assay for gold and ICP-MS Ultratrace 4 for multi-elements returned encouraging average grades of 0.66g/t gold, 0.71g/t silver, 11.72g/t tellurium and 17.1g/t gallium, together with other notable average grades including 115g/t rubidium, 637g/t strontium and 144.5g/t zirconium.

The results support the design of a property-wide systematic auger drill programme aimed at defining the lateral extent of the tailings ore body, testing depths of new areas of mineralisation and confirming grades and mineralisation types including both precious metals and critical minerals.

Sylvanite - Background

Historic records from 2008 show 149 holes drilled to depth, of which 20 holes were fully assayed, returning an average grade of 0.54g/t gold, with a further nine holes partially assayed.

Fulcrum collected 31 surface grab samples during 2024 and 2025 averaging 0.65g/t gold with the highest being 1.6g/t. Surface samples are typically down to 0.5-0.7 metres. Further scout auger holes and sampling were commissioned to generate additional data to support planning of the next phase of work at Sylvanite.

PDAC attendance and Timmins visit to review potential Pilot Plant sites

A delegate consisting of Ryan Mee (CEO), Mitchell Smith (Chairman), Aidan O'Hara (Director) and Andrew Kane (consultant from AP Kane & Associates Ltd) will attend PDAC in Toronto from 2 - 4 March for a number of arranged meetings about our tailings assets and strategy.

Ryan Mee and Andrew Kane along with William Florman (President of Extrakt) and John Gunn (Manager of Emerging Technologies, Technologies & Solutions, Bechtel Energy) will then visit Timmins to undertake an initial review of potential sites for the Pilot Plant, and other critical supply chain components, as part of the Pilot scoping study.

Notes to Editors   About Fulcrum Metals PLC   Fulcrum Metals PLC (AIM: FMET) is an AIM listed technology led natural resources company focused on recovery of precious metals from mine tailings (previously milled and processed ore) in Canada using environmentally friendly leaching technology developed by Extrakt Process Solutions LLC and its associates (together "Extrakt").  The Company's projects are the tailing sites of the former Teck-Hughes and Sylvanite gold mines, located at the Kirkland Lake region in Ontario. In addition, the Company has interests in a portfolio of highly prospective mineral exploration and development projects in both Ontario and Saskatchewan Canada.   Fulcrum has exclusive rights to use Extrakt's proven cyanide free technology on gold mine waste sites over the mining districts of Timmins and Kirkland Lake. These are two of Canada's biggest gold camps with a historical production above 110Moz over the past 100 years, leaving and more than 70 documented legacy mine waste sites. Fulcrum thus has the opportunity to become a significant, environmentally friendly, near-term gold producer. This information is provided by RNS, the news service of the London Stock Exchange.
