Alan Newmanappointed NED and Chair of Audit Committee; Hugo Drayton appointed Chair of Remuneration Committee.
Future plc (LSE: FUTR), the global platform for specialist media,today announces the appointment ofAlan Newmanasa Non-Executive Directorand Chair of the Audit Committeewith effect from6 February 2018.
Alanbrings with himsignificant media and PLC experiencethrough his media and technology sector roles at Ernst & Young and KPMG and his recent nine year tenure as Chief Financial Officer of YouGov plc. Previously, Alan wasInternational Finance Director of Longman and Group Development Manager of MAI plc (now United Business Media).

The Board also announces thatHugo Drayton will take on the role of Chair of the Remuneration Committee from 6 February2018.Hugo has served on the Future plc Board and been a member of the Remuneration Committee since 1December 2014. HeisCEO of brand advertising company Inskin Media Limited.
As announced on 1 December 2017, Richard Huntingford has now taken the role of Chairman, succeeding Peter Allen who stepped down on 1 February 2018.
