** Shares of Gallantt Ispat GALM.NS drop 7.1% to 582 rupees
** Steel manufacturer's Q2 consol profit halved Y/Y to 605.1 mln rupees ($6.4 mln)
** Consol revenue was flat Y/Y at 11.46 bln rupees, while total expenses rose 8.2%
** YTD, GALM up about 8% vs 8.5% fall in Nifty 500 index .NIFTY500
