China's Genfleet Therapeutics soars in Hong Kong debut

** Shares of Genfleet Therapeutics (Shanghai) Inc 2595.HK trade as high as HK$50.2 in Hong Kong debut, up 146.2% from their offer price of HK$20.39 apiece

** Stock later trims gain to trade at HK$44.5, still up 118.2% from the offer price with 25.26 million shares worth HK$1.14 billion changing hands

** The tenth most active traded shares by turnover in early trade

** The Chinese innovative drugs developer and tumor treatment solutions provider offered 89.24 million shares, including overallotment option, for sale in global offering, raising HK$1.82 billion ($233.97 million) for development of core product and product candidates in the pipeline

** Says subscription level of Hong Kong public offering is 2,662.79 times, and international offering portion is 39.05 times

** Hang Seng Biotech Index .HSHKBIO slips 0.5%, while  benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI adds 0.2%
