GeoPark declines to raise offer for Frontera's Colombia oil and gas assets
March 9 (Reuters) - Energy firm GeoPark GPRK.N on Monday decided not to raise its offer for the Colombian oil and gas assets of Frontera Energy FEC.TO, weeks after a competing offer from Parex Resources was deemed "superior" by Frontera. GeoPark had in January announced a definitive agreement to acquire all of Frontera's oil and gas exploration and production assets in Colombia for $375 million.
