GLANBIA ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
 
 
8 October 2020 - Glanbia plc, the global nutrition group ('Glanbia', the 'Group' or the "plc"), today announces that in line with the Relationship Agreement with Glanbia Co-operative Society Limited ("Glanbia Co-op"), John Murphy (Donaghmore/Monasterevin region) will join the Board as a Non-Executive Director on the nomination of Glanbia Co-op. 
 
Following the appointment of Donard Gaynor, an independent non-executive director, as chairman of Glanbia, with effect from today, the positions of vice chairman will no longer apply for the Glanbia Board.
 
John Murphy has notified Glanbia plc that he does not have any details to be disclosed as required under Paragraph 6.6.7, Chapter 6 of the Euronext Dublin Listing Rules and Paragraph 9.6.13, Chapter 9 of the UK Listing Rules.
