April 25 (Reuters) - GLOBAL Sweeteners Holdings Ltd  3889.HK : 
 * Directors are of the view that company could operate as a going concern in 
foreseeable future 
 * Co says in active negotiations with banks to obtain adequate bank borrowings to finance the group's operations 
 * Application has been made to stock exchange for resumption of trading in 
shares of co with effect from 9:00 a.m. on 26 April
