Australia's MetalsTech gains on Slovakia gold project update

** Shares of Australia's MetalsTech Ltd  MTC.AX  rise as
much as 7% to A$0.305, on track for their best session since
July 27 if gains hold
    ** Stock hits the highest since Aug. 31
    ** Gold explorer provides positive update on Phase 3 diamond
drilling program at its Sturec gold mine, Slovakia  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nASX7nNnnL
    ** Says deep surface drilling at one of its drilling sites
will commence shortly and is expected to add significant tonnes
to its underground mining inventory 
    ** About 64,000 shares change hands, nearly one-third of the
30-day average volume
    ** Stock down 1.7% YTD, as of last close
