    * Says it completes repurchase of 2.5 million shares of its
common
stock, representing 9.5 percent of outstanding
    * Shares repurchased at the price of 551 yen per share, or
1.38
billion yen in total, on Aug. 1 
    * Says Renesas Electronics Corporation  6723.T  sold 2.5
million
shares of the company in the share repurchase, and cut voting
power in the company to 6.1 percent from 15 percent, and has
