The following factors could affect Italian markets on Friday.

    ECONOMY
    ISTAT releases July consumer and business confidence data
(0800 GMT) and Q2 wage inflation data (0900 GMT).
    
    DEBT
    Treasury sells 6.0 billion euros in 6-month BOT bills.
Subscriptions close at 0900 GMT.
    On Thursday it said it will sell up to 9.25 billion
eurosover 4 bonds at a July 30 auction.  
    
    COMPANIES
    
    STELLANTIS  STLAM.MI 
    Italy's industry ministry is assessing whether golden powers
aimed at shielding strategic assets can be used for the carmaker
sale of its majority stake in robotic unit Comau to One Equity
Partners, it said in a statement on Thursday.
    
    ENEL  ENEI.MI 
    The Utility completed its disposal plan with 5 billion euros
cashed in the second quarter this year, the company said in
slides ahead of a post-results analyst call. 
    Enel said it would pay a dividend on its 2024 result above
the group's planned floor, after reporting a 9% rise in its
first-half core profit. 
    Spanish power utility Endesa  ELE.MC , controlled by Enel,
said on Thursday it has sold to Abu Dhabi's Masdar a 49.99%
stake in the company controlling its solar power installations
in Spain for 817 million euros ($887.10 million).
    The group said on Thursday it would start a buyback for up
to 2.9 million shares, from Sept. 16 to Dec. 16. 
    
    UNICREDIT  CRDI.MI 
    The lender said on Thursday it was dropping some elements in
its application to the European Court of Justice against a
European Central Bank (ECB) request to cut the Italian bank's
Russia exposure.
  
    SNAM  SRG.MI 
    The gas grid operator announced on Thursday a deal with
EDF's Italian unit Edison  EDNn.MI  on gas storage assets with a
base price of around 560 million euros ($608.05 million).
    
    WEBUILD  WDB.MI 
    The construction group on Thursday posted upbeat results for
the first half of 2024, with a record order backlog and growing
revenue.
    
    TELECOM ITALIA  TLIT.MI 
    Vivendi Chief Executive Arnaud de Puyfontaine said on
Thursday he was not aware that telecoms group Iliad had
expressed any interest in the French media group's stake in
Telecom Italia (TIM).
    
    ENI  ENI.MI 
    The group on Thursday approved the first tranche of the 2024
dividend for 0.25 euros per share. 
    Expected to releases H1 results (0530 GMT), followed by
conference call (1200 GMT).
    
    TERNA  TRN.MI 
    Board meeting on H1 results, followed by conference call
(1500 GMT).
    
    GO INTERNET  GO.MI 
    BID-GO Srl ends full mandatory takeover offer on Go Internet
shares.

    Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti and Bank of Italy
governor Fabio Panetta attend G20-G7 Finance ministerial meeting
in Brazil (to July 27).
    Rome, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni attends presentation of
"Single strategic plan special economic zone (SEZ)" (0930 GMT).
    Rome, conference "Energy Independence by 2050 - The
contribution of bioenergy" with Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani,
Agriculture Minister Francesco Lollobrigida, Environment and
Energy Security Minister Gilberto Pichetto Fratin (0730 GMT).
        Rome, Cabinet meeting on competition law (0800 GMT).
  
        Taranto, Industry Minister Adolfo Urso attends
inauguration ceremony of "House of the Made in Italy" (1330
GMT); followed by press point.
  
        Taranto, Industry Minister Adolfo Urso gives speech 10th
