** Shares of Godrej Industries  GODI.NS  rose 8.6% earlier
in the session to a record high of 765.60 rupees; now up 5.3%
    ** Reuters could not immediately ascertain a reason for the
stock move
    ** Stock on track for best month since March 2021
    ** GODI also set for fifth straight month of gains, up about
14% in Dec so far
    ** Busiest quarter for the stock since Sept quarter of FY12
    ** Around 3 mln shares change hands, 9.4x the 30-day average
    ** Stock up about 73% so far this year
