** Shares of Golden State Mining  GSM.AX  rise as much as
75% to A$0.028, their highest level since Oct 23
    ** Shares on track for their best day since May 31, if gains
hold
    ** The gold miner identifies numerous pegmatite outcrops at
Paynes Find lithium project in Western Australia from field
mapping
    ** Says previously reported anomalous lithium caesium and
rubidium assay results from recent soil sampling programmes from
the project
    ** Co looks to finalise drill target areas and undertake
drilling in early 2024
    ** About 17.8 mln shares change hands, 12.5 times its 30-day
average volume
    ** Stock down 62.8% this year, as of last close
