Directorate Changes

 

Goldplat, the AIM listed gold producer, with international gold recovery
operations located in South Africa and Ghana, announces that Gerard Kemp,
non-executive Chairman, and Sango Ntsaluba, non-executive Director, have
informed Goldplat of their intention not to stand for re-election at the next
AGM which is due to take place before the end of the year.

 

Following discussion with the Board, it was agreed that both Gerard Kemp and
Sango Ntsaluba will step down from their roles today while we start to look
for a suitable replacement for both and a further announcement will be made in
due course. In the interim, Gerard Kisbey-Green, who is a longstanding member
of the board, will assume the role of acting Chairman.

 

Sango Ntsaluba will remain involved with the Group through his company's
shareholding in the South African Subsidiary, Goldplat Recovery (Pty) Ltd and
as chairman of the board of Goldplat Recovery (Pty) Ltd.

been invaluable as Chairman and members of the board where they have assisted
the business through their industry and corporate experience and through their
network in the markets in which we operate. I want to thank Gerard for his

as a board member and for the years of board experience and balance he brought
