Changes to the Board and Management
GoldStone Resources Limited (AIM: GRL) announces that Mr Jurie Wessels, the Company's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, has today in accordance with article 17(1)e of the Company's memorandum and articles of association resigned as a director of the Company and his services as an employee of the Company have been terminated with immediate effect.
The Company also announces that Ms Emma Priestley has been appointed as Interim Chief Executive Officer to ensure the orderly continuation of the Company's business. Ms Priestley is not a director of the Company but will be answerable to the Company's board of directors. Ms Priestley, who was previously a non-executive director of the Company, is a director of Stratex International Plc, the Company's largest shareholder being interested in 33.45% of the Company's issued share capital, and accordingly will not participate in any Stratex deliberations concerningthe Company.
