UK's Goodwin falls after reporting operational challenges

** Shares in British engineering company Goodwin GDWN.L fall 4.9% at 13,720p
** Co says production at its polyimide business, Duvelco, has been constrained to about 20% of designed capacity due to a mechanical fault in a dryer
** Co says UK powder operations were affected during four months ended August 31 by planned maintenance at Hoben International site
** Goodwin Refractory Services performance was affected by fall in demand due to elevated gold and silver prices 
** Up to Tuesday's close shares fell 32.3%
