UK's Goodwin surges on upbeat FY profit outlook, special dividend

** Shares of mechanical engineering company Goodwin PLC GDWN.L jump as much as 32.6% to 20,500p

** GDWN is top gainer on FTSE Mid 250 Index <.FTMC>, which is down 0.11%

** Co expects FY trading profit before tax to exceed 71 mln ($95.29 mln) pounds, a 100% increase compared with the prior year, following strong trading across businesses

** Declares a special one-off interim dividend of 532 pence per share

** YTD, including session's move, GDWN up nearly 97% vs sub-index's up nearly 9.15%
