** Shares of Australia's GR Engineering Services Ltd
 GNG.AX  rise as much as 2.8% to A$2.20, their highest since
Sept 23 
    ** The engineering contractor announces finalisation of
funding for Thunderbird Mineral Sands project  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nASXcgn48X
    ** GR Engineering had announced on March 24 that it entered
into a contract in relation to the engineering, procurement and
construction of Thunderbird Mineral Sands Project located in
Western Australia with Thunderbird Operations Pty Ltd (TOPL)

    **  About 273,000 shares traded so far, compared with the
30-day moving average of 973,000 shares
    ** Stock marks best day since Sept 29  
    ** GR Engineering stock down 1.9% YTD, as of last close
