Australia's Grange Resources hits over 8-yr peak on pellet sale surge

** Shares of the iron ore miner and pellet producer Grange
Resources  GRR.AX  rise as much as 10.3% to A$0.375, their
highest since Jan. 7, 2013
    ** Co says sale of iron ore pellets reached 754 kt in the
December quarter, up from 422 kt sold in the September quarter

    ** Adds production of pellets fell to 479 kt in the December
quarter, compared to 639kt in the September quarter
    ** Stock posts its biggest intraday percentage gain since
April 9, 2020
    ** About 2.4 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average of about 1.9 mln shares
    ** Stock has risen 15.3% this year as of last close
