Appointment reinforces focus on value creation and project delivery
Great Western Mining Corporation PLC, a strategic and precious metals

Ed will join as Chief Executive Officer on 1 February 2026, and it is the
intention of the Board that he will join the Board of Directors in due
course. Further announcements will be made as appropriate.
Brian Hall, Executive Chairman of Great Western Mining, commented, "Ed has
already made a significant impact at Great Western as a consultant so we are
delighted that he has now agreed to step into the role of Chief Executive
Officer. His technical depth, commercial focus and proven leadership position
him exceptionally well to accelerate our Nevada exploration programmes. We
look forward to working closely with Ed as we plan our 2026 work streams and
decisively progress our portfolio."
Ed Loye, incoming Chief Executive Officer, said, "Having worked with the
Company as a consulting geologist for several months, I have been consistently
impressed by the quality of its assets and the rigorous, methodical
exploration work completed to date. I am looking forward to advancing these
strategically important projects in the months ahead and building long-term
value for shareholders."
