** Lithium explorer receives firm commitments for A$4.5 million ($2.94 million) two-tranche placement

** Issue price of A$0.028 represents a discount of 15.2% to the stock's last close

** Proceeds from the placement to be used for advancing project development activities at the Seymour Lithium Project

** About 753,000 shares change hands, 1.7 times the 30-day avg

** Stock is down 55.1% YTD, including the session's moves
