** Shares of GreenTech Metals GRE.AX triples to A$0.22,
their best ever intraday percentage gain
** Says recent assays from its Austin prospect in the Whundo
project in Western Australia showed the area has thicker and
higher grade copper than previously known
** Stock hits highest level since Sept. 12
** As of last close, stock down 50% YTD
