NOTIFICATION OF APPOINTMENT OF AN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
 
Lagos Nigeria - August 10, 2018:
 
The Nigerian Stock Exchange and the investing public are hereby informed that, the Board of Directors of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc ("GTBank") has approved the appointment of Mrs. Miriam Chidiebele Olusanya as an Executive Director of GTBank.
 
Mrs. Olusanya has over 20 years of banking experience which spans through Transaction Services, Treasury, Assets and Liability Management, Corporate Finance and Wholesale Banking. She joined the Bank in 1998 and has been in charge of managing the Bank's Naira and Foreign Currency Balance Sheet, Asset and Liability Position as well as Money Market, Foreign Currency and Bonds Trading.
 
She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Ibadan (1995) and a Master of Business Administration (Finance and Accounting) from the University of Liverpool (2011). She has attended a number of executive management and banking specific programs in leading educational institutions.
 
Mrs. Olusanya was a General Manager until her appointment. She is the Head, Wholesale Banking Division of the Bank.
 
The approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria has been received for the said appointment.
