RNS Number : 6532H H-Power PLC 10 June 2026
10 June 2026
H-Power plc
("H-Power" or the "Company")
Agreement for the sale of two LC30 fuel cell generators to TAMGO for
performance and customer trials in Saudi Arabia
Delivery of a programme of product demonstrations and marketing campaigns for
the LC30 by TAMGO in-country and other Gulf Cooperation Council countries
H-Power plc (AIM: HPOW), a leading provider of ammonia-based low carbon
hydrogen production and hydrogen-to-power solutions at a commercially viable
price point, announces that it has signed an agreement for the sale to TAMGO -
The Machinery Group LLC, a Zahid Group company - of two LC30's, H-Power's
latest fuel cell generator, for operation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Under this agreement, the two LC30 fuel cell generators will initially undergo
pre-deployment "field follow" trials in Saudi Arabia - a series of performance
tests under in-country weather conditions that covers the hottest times of the
year - followed by trials with selected TAMGO customers. Over the coming
months, TAMGO will also deliver a programme of product demonstrations and
marketing campaigns for the LC30 fuel cell generators in Saudi Arabia and
other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, through demonstrations and
customer engagement activities.
Upon successful delivery under the agreement, H-Power believes that this
partnership between H-Power and TAMGO has the potential to deliver significant
future H-Power revenues from our LC30 fuel cell generators across Saudia
Arabia and GCC countries, in which TAMGO is H-Power's exclusive distribution
partner for fuel cell generators.
H-Power's LC30 fuel cell generator is rated to operate successfully in
temperatures ranging from -20 to +50C, making it suitable for operating in
Saudi Arabia and the surrounding region.
John Wilson, CEO of H-Power plc, commented:
"We are delighted to have signed this agreement with TAMGO, which demonstrates
its commitment to H-Power's LC30 fuel cell generator product, while
highlighting H-Power's confidence in TAMGO's first-class product support,
services and solutions for customers focused on construction and
infrastructure development, mining and equipment rental services in the
region. We are confident that the successful delivery on this initial
agreement has strong potential to unlock significant demand from TAMGO's
established and growing customer network across Saudia Arabia and other GCC
countries, enabling customers and industries to decarbonise their operations."
Rami Elayan, General Manager of TAMGO, commented:
"Following the successful deployment fuel cell technology during the Extreme E
and Extreme H events in Saudi Arabia in 2025, the acquisition of these LC30
units represents the next step in our efforts to introduce hydrogen-powered
solutions to the Kingdom.
Through a structured field-follow program under Saudi operating conditions, we
will work closely with H-Power and selected customers to support the
deployment of the LC30 platform across a range of applications while building
market confidence in the technology.
Saudi Arabia is making significant investments in energy transition and
sustainable infrastructure, and we look forward to continuing our
collaboration with H-Power to support the development of hydrogen-powered
solutions across the Kingdom and the wider region."

ABOUT H-POWER
H-Power plc (formerly known as AFC Energy Plc) is a leading provider of
ammonia-based low carbon hydrogen production and hydrogen-to-power solutions.
Our market-leading decentralised ammonia cracker and fuel cell generator
products are engineered to unlock the low carbon hydrogen market by meeting
customers' needs with scalable, reliable supplies of low carbon hydrogen and
power. H-Power is enabling customers to decarbonise at a price that is
commercially viable.
We are focused on the successful commercial rollout of our core product suite
and on creating significant shareholder value by converting our growing
opportunity pipeline into contracted orders and delivering sustained revenue
growth.
Our core strategy is to develop and deploy products that enable the production
of scalable, reliable supplies of clean hydrogen at commercially viable prices
and without reliance on government subsidies or incentives. H-Power achieves
this through our proprietary, decentralised and modular ammonia cracker
technology, and providing low carbon, off‑grid power solutions with our fuel
cell generators that are competitive with, and capable of displacing, diesel
generators on a total cost of ownership basis.
The Company's modular, decentralised ammonia cracker systems have production
capacities of approximately 0.5 and 4 tonnes of hydrogen per day respectively.
These enable the generation of scaled volumes of low carbon hydrogen at the
point of use within a highly compact footprint. Our systems have the potential
to drive substantial revenue growth across a wide range of addressable
markets, including hard‑to‑abate industrial facilities, transportation and
power generation applications.
H-Power's fuel cell generator systems are currently offered with generation
capacities of 30 kW and 200 kW. They are well-suited to off‑grid,
decentralised and temporary power applications, including the displacement of
diesel generators on construction and infrastructure sites. Further use cases
include electric vehicle charging for cars, buses and trucks, as well as
charging of battery‑powered non‑road machinery, with additional emerging
opportunities in maritime, data centre and rail applications.
H-Power is listed on the London Stock Exchange's AIM Market and headquartered
in Dunsfold, Surrey, UK.
