Appointment of non-executive director

 

H&T Group is pleased to announce that Toni Wood will join the board as a
non-executive director with effect from 12 May 2022; her appointment will
broaden and deepen the expertise available to the board in relation to
marketing and digital operations.

In the past five years she was a director at DFS Trading Ltd and remains a
director of WVC Group Ltd and of Ginger Homes Ltd.

H&T would like to take this opportunity to thank Mark Smith and Elaine
Draper, who will not be standing for re-election, for all their hard work and
commitment to the Company during their time as directors.

Plans are well advanced to bring a further NED to the board, being mindful of
the need to strengthen the board to support the growth of the business as well
as the need for succession.

Wood and subsequent appointments reflect H&T's aim of strengthening its
presence in the digital and marketing space to further the growth of the
Company's core pawnbroking and jewellery retailing sectors.
