H&T Group plc, the UK's largest pawnbroker and a leading retailer of new
and pre-owned jewellery and watches, announces that Chris Gillespie, Chief
Executive Officer, today purchased 25,000 ordinary shares of 5p each
("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 428p per Ordinary Share. Following this
transaction his beneficial holding is now 125,000 shares representing 0.29% of
the total issued share capital and voting rights in the Company.
