4D Pharma surges on positive interim data from kidney cancer drug trial

** U.S.-listed shares of biopharma co  LBPS.O  more than
triple to $11.75 before the bell - on track to hit highest
levels in over nine months if gains hold  
    ** A combination of LBPS's drug, MRx0518, and Merck's
 MRK.N  Keytruda for treating renal cell cancer met the main

    ** Four of 16 patients with renal cell cancer enrolled in
part B of its early-to-mid stage study achieved clinical benefit
- LBPS 
    ** MRx0518 is a live biotherapeutic drug, a class of drugs
made from living organisms such as bacteria, and is being tested
as a treatment for several types of cancer 
    ** LBPS to continue recruiting patients for ongoing study of
MRx0518 in combination with Keytruda to treat renal cell cancer,
the most common form of kidney cancer 
    ** London-listed shares  DDDD.L  up 51% at 67.806 pence in
afternoon trading 
    ** Up to Tuesday's close, U.S.-listed shares are down 14.3%
