** Shares of Alderan Resources Ltd  AL8.AX  rise as much as
14.3% to A$0.008 - set for best day since Dec. 5, if gains hold
    ** AL8 hits its highest level since Dec. 13
    ** Copper and gold explorer says sampling results showed
enhanced gold in soil anomalies and indicated strong oxide
mineralization at its Detroit Project in Western Utah, U.S.
    ** Stock is down 75% YTD, as of last close
