Oct 21 (Reuters) - An internal probe at India's HDFC Bank HDBK.NS found that two senior executives disclosed confidential information, Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday, citing sources.
"An internal review into this matter is currently underway to gather and evaluate all relevant facts," an HDFC Bank spokesperson said, adding that appropriate action would be taken based on the findings once the review was complete. 
The bank declined to comment on the ongoing review, citing the integrity of the process and the privacy of those involved.
The lender identified the executives involved during an internal investigation that began after some leaders grew concerned about the possibility of information being leaked, the report said, citing people familiar with the matter. The information related to confidential business strategies and possible market-sensitive information, the report said. 
The findings of the internal investigation were reported to senior management, including some board members, earlier this year, Bloomberg News reported, citing people familiar with the matter. Both executives have since been formally informed of the findings, though it was not immediately clear what disciplinary action, if any, would be taken, the report said.
