Nov 8 (Reuters) - Italian regional utility Hera HRA.MI
on Wednesday posted a 15.1% rise in nine-month adjusted core
profit (EBITDA) to 1.01 billion euros ($1.08 billion) on strong
contributions from the energy and waste management sectors.
"All of our businesses contributed to this growth, more than
80% underpinned by our energy supply business due to a 9%
increase in our customer base," Executive Chairman Cristian
Fabbri said.
Bologna-based Hera reported a 23.5% fall in revenue to 10.96
billion euros on lower energy commodity prices and a fall in gas
volumes sold due to mild weather in the first six months of
2023.
