An initial, procedural meeting between UniCredit and government officials in charge of 'golden powers' is due to take place on May 15, sources told Reuters on Tuesday. UniCredit has raised objections to the government's decision to impose conditions to the Banco BPM deal.
STELLANTIS STLAM.MI
The Franco-Italian carmaker will next month update a plan to revive its vehicle production in Italy it presented at the end of last year, the automaker's chief of European operations said on Tuesday.
Stellantis has suspended a contested plan to overhaul the legal structures of its dealership network in Europe, its chief for the region said on Tuesday, as the carmaker also prepares to update a plan to revive vehicle production in Italy.
TELECOM ITALIA (TIM) TLIT.MI
Italy's biggest phone group is considering adding insurance, digital payments and energy to its business as described in its bylaws ahead of expanding the offering of those services, two sources told Reuters on Tuesday.
MFE-MEDIAFOREUROPE MFEB.MI
The TV broadcaster controlled by Berlusconi family will press ahead with plans to strengthen its role as leading investor in ProSiebenSat.1 PSMGn.DE, a source close to the company said on Tuesday, after Czech investment group PPF said it would raise its stake in the German broadcaster.
