Italy's parliament made it illegal on Wednesday for couples
to go abroad to have a baby via surrogacy -- a pet project of
Prime Minister's Giorgia Meloni party which activists say is
meant to target same-sex partners.
ECONOMY
Italy plans to raise roughly 4 billion euros ($4.4 billion)
in 2025 from changes in tax rules for banks, insurance products
and business licences for gaming, Rome's draft budgetary plan
(DBP) showed on Wednesday.

The car maker said on Wednesday it is recalling 54,000
hybrid crossover SUVs worldwide because the brake pedal in the
vehicles could disengage and stop working.
The White House on Wednesday said Stellantis should deliver
on commitments made to the United Auto Workers union and
communities affected by plant closures in the United States.

The bank is still awaiting a court decision over whether it
must immediately reduce its Russia business to comply with a
European Central Bank order, months after filing an objection,
