** Property and casualty insurer Heritage Insurance's HRTG.N shares jump 9.9% to $14.06

** CEO Ernie Garateix late Monday disclosed he had bought 5,000 HRTG shares for $63,850

** Chief Financial Officer Lusk Kirk also bought 6,000 HRTG shares for $83,100, while director Paul Whiting acquired 10,000 shares for $133,500

** Market participants tend to track the trading activity of executives as investors believe insiders could have a clearer view of the company's outlook

** HRTG stock up 15.7% YTD
