Australia's Askari Metals soars on identifying areas of lithium pegmatites at project

** Shares of Askari Metals  AS2.AX  climb as much as 4.2% to
A$0.5, set for their best day since May 18, if gains hold
    ** The metal explorer says it has identified additional
areas of pegmatites in the northwest area of its Barrow Creek
lithium project in the Northern Territory of Australia

    ** Says sampling programme validated the interpreted strike
extension of the pegmatite zones, extending the lithium
mineralised strike to three kilometres 
    ** Co expects to investigate the sub-surface of the lithium
mineralisation as soon as possible, pending government clearance

    ** AS2 more than doubled in value so far this year
