Hill & Smith PLC ('the Company')

Transaction in Own Shares

 

 

Hill & Smith PLC announces that on 20 and 21 December 2023 its Employee
Benefit Trust ("EBT") purchased 101,772 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in
the Company, at an average price of £18.765242 per share. The EBT is in the
process of acquiring a further 23,228 ordinary shares and the Company will
update the market again in due course.

 

All of the purchased shares will be used to satisfy the vesting of shares
under the Company's 2014 Long Term Incentive Plan or Executive Share Option
Scheme.

 

Following the purchases, the EBT holds 136,935 ordinary shares, representing
0.17% of the issued share capital of the Company.

The issued share capital as at today is 80,195,569 ordinary shares.
