Hill & Smith PLC ('the Company')

Transaction in Own Shares

 

Further to RNS numbers 5437L and 8661L, Hill & Smith PLC announces that
on 25 April 2024, its Employee Benefit Trust ("EBT") purchased an additional
10,000 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the Company, at an average price of
£19.067614 per share. This brings the total purchase to 45,522. The EBT is in
the process of acquiring up to a further 29,478 ordinary shares and the
Company will update the market again in due course.

All of the purchased shares will be used to satisfy the vesting of shares
under the Company's Long Term Incentive Plans or Executive Share Option
Scheme.

Following the purchase, the EBT holds 83,662 ordinary shares, representing
0.1% of the issued share capital of the Company.

The issued share capital as at today is 80,390,246 ordinary shares.
