Hochschild Mining appoints Independent Non-Executive Director

 

 

Hochschild Mining PLC (the "Company") is pleased to announce
the appointment of Joanna Pearson as an independent Non-Executive director
with effect from 1 October 2023.

 

Joanna was formerly Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of
the FTSE 100 company, Endeavour Mining plc (2020 - 2023), and, prior to that,
was an audit partner at Deloitte LLP, Vancouver for 12 years where she
conducted multinational audit engagements for US and Canadian listed companies
primarily in mining and emerging markets.

 

Since June 2021, Joanna has been a Non-Executive director of Goldshore
Resources Inc., a junior resource exploration company listed on the
TSX-Venture exchange in Canada, where she also chairs the company's Audit
Committee.

 

Joanna is a Chartered Professional Accountant of British Columbia.

 

Eduardo Hochschild, Chair of the Board, said:

experience ensure that the Board remains well-equipped to be able to discharge
its financial reporting and risk management responsibilities. We look forward

Other than as disclosed above, there are no additional matters to be disclosed
under Listing Rule 9.6.13R with respect to Joanna's appointment.

On joining the Board, Joanna will become a member of the Audit and
Remuneration Committees, and the Board will comprise three non-independent
Directors and six independent Non-Executive Directors.
